THE GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY
14/14Lights, camera, pants!
One problem with video game criticism is that it is almost always an adult who reviews the game, and sometimes these projects are designed for children's brains.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! is a perfect example of a game that is less than stellar from an adult perspective, but as a children's title it's also a fun and entertaining party game. Its only flaw is that it doesn't work as a single player experience, as the computer-controlled characters offer little challenge or resistance.
13/14Super bouncy fun time.
When it comes to mobile gaming, there tends to be a handful of cash for every title that is a genuinely good gaming experience. In the realm of SpongeBob SquarePants, however, there's a mobile title that's quite nice.
The game in question is SpongeBob's Super Bouncy Fun Time from 2012, which has been praised for having the addictive and fun gameplay loop that people are looking for in their mobile games. It runs on the classic star system that lets you know how well you've done across its 100 levels, and its only weakness is that it's clearly designed for younger kids: it lacks any real challenge.
